QParents is a secure online portal that gives you easy access to important information about your child's schooling. Available as an app or through a web browser, QParents allows you to manage and view details about your child's attendance, timetables, report cards, assessments, and school payments—all in one convenient place.

How to Register for QParents
If your child's school is using QParents, they will send you an invitation via email or letter with a unique registration code. To sign up:
- Visit qparents.qld.edu.au.
- Enter your unique invitation code and verify your identity using 100 points of ID.
- Once your identity is confirmed, the school will review and approve your registration.
- After approval, you can log in to the app and even grant read-only access to another trusted carer or family member (a 'Delegated Viewer').

Security and Privacy
Your personal information is securely stored by the Department of Education in Microsoft's data centre in Australia. Advanced encryption ensures that your details remain protected and inaccessible to unauthorised users. Importantly, your data is never shared for advertising or marketing purposes.
The information displayed in QParents comes directly from the school's IT system, OneSchool, where it is updated by teachers and staff. Any changes you make in QParents, such as updating contact details or reporting absences, will be sent to the school for review and confirmation.
