Lunchbox at Kenmore South State School
At Kenmore South State School, we call our tuckshop Lunchbox—a friendly name that reflects the caring, community feel of our school.
Our Lunchbox is proudly run by the P&C, providing fresh, delicious options for our students while supporting our wonderful school community. We aim to create a positive, welcoming Lunchbox experience that students look forward to each week.
Throughout the year, the Lunchbox also hosts special lunches and fun treats once a term, adding a little extra excitement for students!
Ordering Lunchbox via Qkr!
The easiest way to order Lunchbox is through the Queensland Department of Education approved app, Qkr! Information on how to download and set up the app can be found in the link provided.
Getting started is simple:
- Download the Qkr! app from the App Store or Google Play
- Search for "Kenmore South State School"
- Create an account and set up a profile for each child

To avoid disappointment, we recommend placing your order in advance rather than on the morning Buying from the Lunchbox KioskStudents also have the opportunity to purchase items directly from the Lunchbox kiosk during breaks, where they can order snacks and frozen treats. This is a valuable learning experience, helping students to develop confidence, practice handling money, and build important real-world skills such as decision-making, budgeting, and polite social interaction.
