The Kenmore South State School P&C has been a key part of our school community, helping to support a wide range of initiatives that enhance the learning experience for our students and provide valuable resources for our staff. Thanks to our dedicated fundraising efforts, we're able to organise fun and engaging events and provide valuable contributions that make a real difference in fostering a vibrant and welcoming school environment.
P&C Events for 2026
We have an exciting calendar of events planned for 2026:
- Welcome BBQ – Friday 27 February
- Mother's Day Stall – Friday 8 May
- Trivia Night (Adults Only) – Saturday 13 June
- P&C Fete – Kenmore South Fest – Saturday 15 August (held every 2nd year)
- Father's Day Stall – Wednesday 2 September
- Teachers' Day – Friday 30 October

If you're interested in helping to run or organise an event, we would love your input. Please reach out to the P&C President at pandc_secretary@kenmoresouthss.eq.edu.au

How the P&C Supports Our School
- Funding new educational resources and classroom equipment
- Supporting school-wide events such as the Welcome BBQ and Fete
- Enhancing school facilities
- Providing financial support for extracurricular activities and programs
Supporting the School Chaplaincy
The P&C proudly supports the Kenmore South chaplaincy in conjunction with the school by donating a variable amount each year (typically around $12,000). This contribution allows the chaplain to be on campus two days a week, providing valuable support to students in areas such as wellbeing, emotional resilience, and personal development.
This funding is reviewed and voted on by the P&C each year, giving our community the opportunity to decide whether to continue supporting this service. Through this partnership, the P&C helps ensure students have access to caring guidance and support when they need it most.
For more information or to request support from the chaplaincy, please contact the school office or email: admin@kenmoresouthss.eq.edu.au
Student Representation Support

Typical support levels:
* State: $150

Becoming an P&C Executive Member
All Executive positions become vacant at the AGM and are re-voted on each year.
The P&C Executive team is particularly calling for additional Vice-Presidents to help share the workload and support the Executive team. If you've ever thought about getting a little more involved, this is a great way to contribute while working alongside a supportive group of parents.
Executive roles include President, Treasurer, Secretary and Vice-Presidents. (We can have multiple Vice-Presidents, but we must have a President and Treasurer for the P&C to continue operating.)
Even if an executive role isn't for you, becoming a P&C member is a great way to be involved and support projects that benefit our students and school community.
