Kenmore
South State School became an Independent Public School in 2014. As an
Independent Public School, Kenmore South has a greater degree of autonomy
surrounding key areas of budget, human resourcing and allowing innovative
partnerships with community and industry.
The
School Council sets the school’s strategic direction and tone as well as
endorsing important decisions such as strategic plans and budgets. The
council functions in a similar manner to a board.
As
a school council member, you can help the council discover new and exciting
ways to contribute to the education of students at Kenmore South. Education is
a partnership involving parents, students, teachers, principals, government,
and the community. Involvement in the council gives you the opportunity to
strengthen those partnerships, working with a dedicated team to deliver diverse
and high quality education.
Your
participation can make a difference!
