Teacher of Diverse Learning/ Head of Special Education Services (HOSES)/ DLC Teacher
Diverse Learning Centre (DLC) staff area available Monday –
Friday to assist with enquiries. The DLC is located at the bottom of the internal stairs in D
Block.
A DLC teacher supports students with a diagnosed disability
by being involved in the social, academic, and behavioural aspects of their
education.
Each of the students with a diagnosed disability will have a
Personalised Learning Plan (PLP) and/or an Individual Curriculum Plan (ICP)
developed for their academic or personal development.
These Education Plans are
developed by the child student’s support team, which involves parents,
teachers, speech/ occupational/Physical therapists and Guidance Officer.
