ARTICLE: iLearn Update and Information Night

iLearn Update

Thank you to parents who recently returned Expressions of Interest for the 2018 pilot Year 2 iPad iLearn program and Year 4 iLearn Program. Based on forms received, there is currently 67% EOI to take part in the Year 2 program and 80% in the Year 4 Program. The iLearn Consultative Committee met last week to discuss a range of issues, documents and polciies surrounding the Program. Thanks you to all parents who placed an EOI to be on this Committee. We received more than 25 responses. The Committee consists of 7 parents, 3 staff members and the Principal. The next meeting of this group will take place on Thursday 16 November.

earn Device Parent Information Night

In preparation for our 2018 iLearn Program, parents and carers are invited to attend an iLearn Device Parent Information Night. The purpose of the night is to inform parents of the minimum requirements for devices before purchase and go through the Acceptable Use Policy. Our school technician and eLearning Lead Teachers will be available to answer your questions.
If you have a second hand device that you believe could be suitable for use in 2108 you are welcome to bring it along to see if it meets the minimum requirements for use. A copy of the iLearn Program Requirements List is available on the school website.
iLearn Device Information Session will be held on Tuesday 21 November at 6pm in the Library.
All parents and caregivers of students in Year 2 and 4 in 2018 are encouraged and invited to attend, to gain accurate and up-to-date information regarding the device requirements for 2018.
Please contact Georgina Allardice at or 3327 0888, or the school office, if you have any questions.
