This weekend our school community will come together to celebrate our 50th Birthday Celebration with a wonderful and eventful Fete.  Many thanks to our supportive P&C and passionate Fete Co-ordinator Elissa and her team of helpers, for the many long hours of organisation and planning.  We are so excited.   This celebration will be a great chance to see the wonderful work displayed by our students, with their musical talents on show as they sing and dance. It is also a chance for the community to catch up with old friends and look at the amazing history of Kenmore South.
Every day at Kenmore South, our magnificent teachers provide opportunities where the challenge of learning itself becomes the motivation to succeed.  There is a real art in setting challenges that inspire students.  Our teachers have been designing and crafting the learning opportunities that happen in our classrooms.  At our school we want each student to be ready to challenge those things which need challenging and support those which need supporting, guided by our five keys for success.
Kenmore South is a ‘great’ school; this is because we are creating the necessary conditions to make us a ‘great’ school.  We want our students to be able to take up the challenge, make good choices in their learning, set goals and embrace the challenges.
Research tells us that a great school sets high expectations in everything that is undertaken and supports its students along the journey with positive relationships with students and families.
At Kenmore South we promote curiosity, individuality and independence of thought while instilling a strong sense of compassion, community and belonging.  We are a great school standing true to our beliefs and values.  We have a staff with the desire and ability to constantly seek to improve what they do and ensure that in our classrooms, learning is exciting and a fun place in which students learn.
